The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World is coming back this autumn, with its second season officially slated to launch in October 2026. Ahead of the launch, a fresh teaser trailer has surfaced. The follow‑up was first disclosed back in May 2026.
Season 2 picks up Ray White’s story following the conclusion of the first season, which ran from January through March 2023. After surmounting numerous obstacles at the Arnold Academy of Magic and winning the confidence of his peers, Ray is set to enter the Magics War, a spell‑bound contest where students team up in groups of three to battle.
Simultaneously, a fresh danger looms over Ray and his allies, as the remaining members of the world’s Seven Grand Sorcerers start executing their own strategies.
Junya Enoki reprises his role as Ray White, joined by the following cast members:

Masahiro Takata is back in the helm as director, series composer, and sound director. Mariko Kawamoto continues as character designer and chief animation director, and the screenplay is penned by Takata, Tomoko Shinozuka, and Yujin Onishi. Studio Zero‑G oversees the animation production, while david production manages the art and background work.
The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World originates from a light‑novel series penned by Nana Mikoshiba and illustrated by Riko Korie, released under Kodansha’s Kodansha Ranobe Bunko imprint.
Kodansha USA has acquired the English license for the manga adaptation illustrated by Norihito Sasaki, and they describe the debut volume as follows:
