I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too (Iseleve) Season 2 has unveiled its debut trailer and set a January 2027 premiere. The continuation was first teased last March at AnimeJapan. Studio Millepensee returns for the animation work, with Shin Itagaki directing and Hiromi Kimura handling character designs.
The second season will pick up Yuya Tenjo’s journey after his victory over the Fist Saint and the acquisition of a new ability linked to darkness. As Yuya works to master this power, the sinister forces of Evil keep swelling. The newly announced voice actors include:
- Ikumi Hasegawa as Iris Knowblade
- Sora Amamiya as Mai Kagurazaka
Iris Knowblade serves as the Sword Saint and ranks among the most powerful Saints, slated to confront Yuya in an official duel. She is portrayed as a skilled swordswoman who seeks a rival stronger than herself and grows intrigued by Yuya after their encounter in the match. Similar to Yuya and Kaori, Mai hails from the real world. She previously worked as a shrine maid before being called into the other realm as the “Saintess,” endowed with a unique ability to cleanse darkness.

I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too is a Japanese light novel series penned by Miku. It has been released under Fujimi Shobo’s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint since 2018. Yen Press has secured the rights to both the novel and its manga adaptation in English. According to their description:
“EVERYONE NEEDS A HERO — Demons and corrupt fallen deities have been causing trouble in the other world, so Yuuya could use a break. Thankfully, now that exams are finally over, he can enjoy summer vacation. And nothing says summer like a day at the beach and goofing off with friends! All Yuuya has to think about is how to react to cute girls in swimsuits and a sudden job at a beachside café. That is, until the group goes to a spooky shrine for a test of courage, and they come face‑to‑face with a very REAL evil that looks just like a Demon…The appearance of an unexpected hero will shake things up in both worlds!”
