Distanbun Aceh menetapkan harga kelapa sawit

Banda Aceh, fanews.id – The Aceh Provincial Agriculture and Horticulture Agency (Distanbun) held a meeting to set the purchase price of fresh palm fruit bunches (TBS) for the entire Aceh region. The meeting took place at the Distanbun Aceh Auditorium in Banda Aceh on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. It was also attended virtually by representatives from palm oil mills (PKS) and district/city horticulture offices throughout Aceh.

During the meeting and in the minutes signed by the Acting Head of Distanbun Aceh, Habiburrahman, S.TP., M.Sc., and the Head of the Processing, Marketing, and Business Development Division (P3UP) of Distanbun Aceh, who also serves as the Chairman of the TBS Purchase Price Determination and Monitoring Team, Habiburrahman, S.TP., M.Sc., it was agreed that for the eastern region, the price of TBS in the 10‑20 year age category would be Rp3,718 per kilogram. For the western region, with the same age range, the set price for TBS is Rp3,627 per kilogram.

The average price of crude palm oil (CPO) in this period rose to Rp15,530.13 per kilogram, up from the previous period’s price of Rp15,293.32 per kilogram. The team also set the price for palm kernel at Rp13,396.89 per kilogram, an increase from the prior period’s price of Rp12,693.51 per kilogram.

For the third week of July 2026, the TBS Purchase Price Determination and Monitoring Team set the ‘K’ index at 90.56 percent for the eastern region, while the western zone was set at 88.33 percent. The ‘K’ index is a performance factor used in determining palm oil TBS prices.

Meanwhile, the price of shells is set at Rp15.96 per kilogram, applicable across all Aceh regions and for all tree ages. The inclusion of shell components in the calculation and determination of TBS prices adds value for plasma and self‑sustaining farmer partners.

The team has set the prices to be effective from July 15 through July 28, 2026, which corresponds to the fifth week of July. These rates apply to self‑sustaining and plasma farmer partners throughout Aceh Province, as per the divided regional zones.

The Head of P3UP at Distanbun Aceh, Habiburrahman, stated that the government and palm oil companies (PKS) share a joint obligation to set TBS prices every two weeks. Information on the agreed TBS price is highly beneficial for all parties—farmers, companies, and the government—since central government regulations require new price determinations for each period.

“This is part of an obligation that must be made public so that the community is aware of the TBS price. It also serves as an evaluation to see whether the set TBS rates are realized on the ground or not,” emphasized Habiburrahman when opening the meeting, which was attended both offline and online across Aceh and included a representative from the Aceh Regional Police (Polda).”

He mentioned that the determination of TBS prices depends on the invoices received. Based on this, his side hopes for the participation of PKS in sending valid and timely invoices. Once all parties have agreed in a joint meeting, the TBS price will be set by the Aceh Governor, entrusted to Distanbun Aceh.

The Head of Subdirectorate I at the Aceh Police Criminal Investigation Division (Ditreskrimsus), Kompol Sofyan, S.H., M.M., stated that, as a supervisory body, his side reminds companies and business actors in the palm oil sector of an important point that needs to be understood. All invited companies should be able to accommodate the TBS price for each determination period.

“If there is a violation of the determined TBS price, it will fall under criminal law, administrative sanctions, and other legal penalties. We do not want such violations to occur, so that community welfare can be achieved,” said Sofyan during his opening remarks at the TBS price determination meeting.

He hopes that everything can run optimally in accordance with central government regulations and the TBS price determination through the Aceh government. Therefore, there should be no violations of the regulations and joint agreements.

The Chairman of the Aceh Indonesian Palm Oil Farmers Association (APKASINDO), Netap Ginting, appreciated the agreement between the government and palm oil companies (PKS) for including the shell component in the TBS price calculation formula. APKASINDO Aceh’s effort to advocate for the economic value of palm shells has now yielded results.

“Certainly, this is very good for creating the economy of palm sector entrepreneurs,” he stressed.

Netap Ginting asked all parties, especially PKS, to commit to the price agreement, as well as to the agreement on factory scale calibration every six months and a maximum two‑percent TBS trimming by grading officers. All palm oil mills in Aceh must support the joint decision for the advancement of Aceh’s economy.
