The inaugural teaser trailer for the series Are You a Landmine, Chihara-san? has arrived before its scheduled launch in January 2027. The animation is produced by Studio SynergySP, directed by Yasuaki Fujii. Keiichiro Ochi oversees the series composition, Majiro designs the characters, and Alisa Okehazama composes the music.
The trailer depicts Kuroki seated beside Mai Chihara as a new term begins. While his peers label her a “landmine” girl, Kuroki gradually uncovers surprising facets of her as they interact.
Sayumi Suzushiro provides the voice for Mai Chihara, and Kazuki Ura portrays Kuroki. The principal voice actors include:

Yet when Kuroki unintentionally draws her attention, he learns she’s far less unstable than rumored. Under the tough exterior lies a surprisingly sweet, albeit quirky, girl.
Slowly, Kuroki starts to uncover more about Chihara’s odd habits. Could there be depth beyond her notorious image? Or is the dark attire simply a warning sign?
