Synopsis:
The Moon on a Rainy Night
“It’s a metaphor for the things you can’t see. Like the moon, hidden behind the rain clouds.”
Just before entering high school, Saki Kindaichi meets a striking girl with long, flowing hair—Kanon Oikawa—on her way to a piano lesson.
They unexpectedly cross paths again during the school’s entrance ceremony, now as classmates.
Kanon has a hearing impairment and tends to keep her distance from others. Saki is troubled by how some classmates and teachers treat Kanon and feels driven to reach out.
Touched by Saki’s quiet resolve, Kanon gradually lowers her guard… and little by little, her world begins to shift.
A gentle, everyday rhythm draws their hearts closer, one step at a time.
This is a tale of two girls—filled with hidden struggles, unspoken connections, and a love that quietly takes root.
