Suikoden: The Anime, the adaptation of Suikoden II, unveiled the ending song and an October 3 premiere in a third trailer. It had earlier been confirmed in March 2025 as an Suikoden II anime, together with a fresh mobile game for the series.
It was previously confirmed that Episode 1 will be a 1‑hour special. The finale track, “closed eye sun (feat. Honoka Takahashi)” by Koji Nakamura, can be heard in the latest trailer alongside amazarashi’s opening theme.
