Nevertheless, one thing is now clear: the plan to elect the Chair of KADIN Tasikmalaya for the 2026‑2031 term continues as scheduled.

When the prior Steering Committee (SC) and Organizing Committee (OC) resigned on the evening of Friday, 11 September 2026, the 5th City Meeting (Mukota V) held at Grand Metro Hotel on Saturday, 12 September 2026, entered a new phase.

The West Java KADIN assumes control of the meeting’s execution and supports the creation of fresh Steering and Organizing Committees drawn from the former internal leadership of KADIN Tasikmalaya.

This decision followed a goodwill meeting held by the West Java KADIN with Tasikmalaya KADIN officials on Saturday morning.

During that gathering, several individuals emerged to fill the new committee roles. Agus Nugraha “Gayatri” and Alif Hamzah were appointed as Chair and Secretary of the Steering Committee.

For the Organizing Committee, the forum selected Asep Budi as Chair and Endang Rusyanto as Secretary.

With this new lineup in place, the 5th City Meeting (Mukota V) now awaits formal approval from the West Java KADIN before proceeding to the next steps, namely the election of the Chair of KADIN Tasikmalaya.

The session was paused around 12:00 WIB for the Zuhur prayer and to await ratification of the new SC and OC.

These developments mark the most recent chapter in the ongoing controversy surrounding Mukota V, which over the past few days has been marked by disagreements over committee arrangements and the event’s schedule.

The 5th City Meeting of KADIN Tasikmalaya Remains Set for 12 September Even After the Committee’s Request Is Rejected; the Tasikmalaya Electoral Board Continues to Promote Inclusive Elections, Ensuring Voters with Disabilities Are More Than mere Spectators.

At the venue, Muhamad Abdul Karim, a candidate for Chair of KADIN Tasikmalata, arrived early in the morning. Meanwhile, the other candidate who passed verification, Asep Saepulloh, has not yet appeared.

Previously, the SC and OC of Mukota V reportedly submitted a request for postponement to the West Java KADIN, but this appeal was not granted.

In a letter issued by the West Java KADIN numbered 0131/WKU/IX/2026, dated 11 September 2026, it is reiterated that the agenda for Mukota V must proceed as planned on 12 September 2026.

The document serves as a response to the letter from the Mukota V Committee of KADIN Tasikmalaya, numbered 22/Pan/Mukota/KT.TSM/IX/2026, dated 10 and 11 September 2026.

The West Java KADIN maintains that the implementation of the meeting must adhere to the pre‑established schedule.
