TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – The 5th City Consultative Meeting (Mukota) of the Tasikmalaya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) has appointed Muhamad Abdul Karim as chairman for the 2026‑2031 term.
Nevertheless, despite the unanimous acclamation that propelled Karim to the chair, organizational dynamics remain under scrutiny.
The Deputy Chairman of West Java KADIN for Institutional and Organizational Affairs, Agus Vickram, confirmed that his side respects the decision of the members and executives of Tasikmalaya KADIN.

According to him, the dynamics that unfolded during the Mukota process are part of the organization’s journey; however, it is hoped that all differences will not drag on after the new chairman is confirmed.
“West Java will of course respect and value the decision made by the members or executives of Tasik KADIN themselves,” Agus stated.
“Of course, West Java expresses appreciation for the dynamics and the current situation, yet it can be resolved amicably, founded on deliberation in accordance with the statutes and regulations,” he added.
He acknowledged that decision‑making in organizational forums is not always straightforward.
Moreover, each side holds viewpoints and interests that must be placed within the boundaries of organizational rules.
Nevertheless, according to Agus, all parties fundamentally share the same intention—to contribute to the business sector in Tasikmalaya.
“They all understand, but they all have good intentions on how to make KADIN Tasikmalaya contribute to the business community in Tasikmalaya,” he said.
Agus also thanked the entrepreneurs who are members of Tasikmalaya KADIN for completing the series of Mukota stages leading to the election of a new chairman.

“The main hope is that the newly elected chairman, Abdul Karim, can bring fresh energy to make a contribution,” he said.
Agus emphasized a crucial point after the Mukota concluded: dynamics and differing opinions must be concluded.
In his view, organizational energy should now be redirected toward developing Tasikmalaya’s economy.
“Dynamics are finished, differences of opinion are settled. Now it’s about building a better economic future for Tasik,” he asserted.
This statement is significant because the 5th Mukota of KADIN Kota Tasikmalaya indeed took place amidst several observations.
