PANGANDARAN, Thecuy.com – Women’s issues require more than just being heard; they must be guided until a solution is found.

From domestic violence (KDRT), child abuse, to family economic pressures, these are the issues that concern Wanoja Perjuangan in Pangandaran Regency.

The women’s humanitarian organization reaffirms its commitment to advocate for various women’s issues while promoting community welfare improvement, especially in West Java region.

STMIK DCI becomes West Java’s Robotics Incubation Center, with Kota Santri targeting a technology ecosystem; the Tasikmalaya International Job Fair attracted 4,116 applicants! Job openings reached 7,222 positions; here’s the schedule.

The Chairperson of Wanoja Perjuangan of Pangandaran Regency, Hj Ida Nuralela, stated that women are not merely a complement in the struggle, but an essential part that must be given space, protection, and opportunity to grow.

“It’s essential to recognize that women in the PDI Perjuangan are not just ancillary, but are the central focus of the endeavor,” Ida remarked on Wednesday (28/10/2026).

She explained that Wanoja Perjuangan is present in various regencies in West Java. At the regency level, the wife of the DPC PDI Perjuangan chairwoman serves ex officio as the organization’s chair.

According to Ida, Wanoja Perjuangan’s primary focus is to collect aspirations, provide assistance, and oversee social issues faced by women.

The organization also goes directly to the field to reach communities in need of assistance.

“Our goal is to advocate for women’s issues. Cases of violence against women are among those we address. We also go to various regions. The activities we organize are clearly aimed at women’s welfare,” she said.

In addition to issues of violence against women and child abuse, Wanoja Perjuangan also pays attention to the education sector, health, and family economic recovery.

The PBB-P2 fine in Tasikmalaya City has been fully removed, with old arrears eligible for a 100% reduction; GP Ansor criticizes Tasikmalaya’s development direction, urging not to just be proud of being a Kota Santri.

Ida believes that economic problems can exacerbate women’s vulnerability within households. Therefore, improving women’s economic capabilities is one of the efforts the organization aims to promote.

“Many women suffer abuse from their husbands due to economic issues. Therefore, I aim to enhance the economic quality in some women’s neighborhoods,” she said.

This effort is expected to create opportunities for women to increase economic independence while strengthening family welfare.

In addressing social and legal issues, Wanoja Perjuangan also collaborates with regional government agencies, including the KB PMPD and Social Service Departments. The organization is also involved in a stunting intervention program.
