TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – A number of civil servants within the Tasikmalaya City Government have officially reached retirement age. The farewell event was combined with a Joint Morning Assembly of the Tasikmalaya City Government held at the Bale Kota Tasikmalaya grounds on Monday (3/8/2026).
During the gathering, the Mayor’s Decree concerning the dismissal and pension granting for civil servants effective from 1 August 2026 was also presented. In addition, the Mayor’s Decree on the promotion period for 1 August 2026 was handed out.
Acting as the apel’s inspector, the Deputy Mayor of Tasikmalaya, Rd. Diky Candra Negara, expressed appreciation and thanks to the civil servants who have completed their service.
Lacking the resolve to improve parking, the Tasikmalaya City Transportation Agency must act decisively and transparently. Meanwhile, a vendor admitted they have not yet been able to implement a functioning parking ticketing system, indicating that parking assistants in Tasikmalaya City still need further development.
Diky conveyed gratitude for the dedication, loyalty, and service shown while performing duties as a public official. He believes that the contributions of the retired civil servants are a crucial element in the city’s development and public service journey.
“On behalf of the Tasikmalaya City Government, we extend our highest appreciation and gratitude for the devotion, dedication, and loyalty demonstrated throughout their tenure as civil servants,” he said.
Before the civil servants, Diky underscored the importance of upholding integrity in carrying out duties. He noted that anti-corruption values must become an integral principle in every work process and public service.
Civil servants, he continued, should serve as role models in achieving a clean, transparent, and accountable governance system. Public trust must be maintained by steering clear of any actions or practices that could tarnish the government’s image.
Beyond integrity, Diky also highlighted the significance of preventing domestic violence (KDRT). He urged civil servants to cultivate harmonious family lives by prioritizing mutual respect and open communication when addressing various issues.
He opined that family plays a vital role in shaping the character and quality of an official. A healthy and harmonious family environment is expected to support civil servants in performing their duties professionally and with integrity.
“Consider family as a space to build communication and resolve issues effectively. A harmonious family will serve as the foundation for us to deliver the best service to the community,” he advised.
