Otaku Vampire’s Love Bite by Julietta Suzuki (author of Kamisama Kiss) will be adapted into an anime. A teaser illustration and a special promotional video have been unveiled. Details on the animation studio, production crew, and voice cast are still undisclosed.
Since its debut in Hakusensha’s shojo magazine Hana to Yume in November 2022, the manga has reached ten released volumes, and the upcoming 11th volume is set to hit shelves this month.
Viz Media is publishing the title in English with nine volumes available. They describe the plot as:
Hina is completely absorbed in collecting Mao merchandise, so much so that she barely cares about missing out on the Vampire Cross cafés. She could use a human friend to eat all the themed food for her! However, befriending humans isn’t easy—until she literally bumps into her neighbor Kyuta, a prickly boy who looks exactly like Mao. Having her best friend live next door would be incredibly convenient! The only hurdle now is convincing him to actually be her friend…
