Ko Sawada’s series, Yumene Connect, will be adapted into an anime. A teaser image and video have also been unveiled alongside the principal crew and performers. Studio Massket will handle the animation production.
Yu Sasahara and Yusuke Kobayashi portray the characters Nano and Yuhi Takamiya, respectively. Sota Yokote serves as the director, while Gigaemon Ichikawa handles the screenplay and series composition. Yoshihiro Watanabe designs the characters, and Hayato Matsumura composes the music.
The series started its run in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in September 2024. There are now nine volumes available, with the tenth scheduled for release on October 16, 2026.
The narrative centers on Yuhi Takamiya, a high school freshman who is absent for his first week due to an unexpected sickness and fears he will not be able to make any acquaintances. Upon learning of his situation, an extraterrestrial named Nano appears to lend a hand. Eventually, Nano settles in with Yuhi, accompanied by another alien being called Nyoru Puppu Panpippi.
