Multi‑Mind Mayhem (Isekai Tensei Sodoki) anime has dropped its debut trailer and key art, announced a January 2027 premiere, and disclosed the core production team. Studio DEEN will oversee the animation, a project that originated with its initial reveal in March of this year.
This isekai tale centers on Bard, scion of the aristocratic Cornelius line in the Kingdom of Mauricia. Yet Bard does not alone occupy his frame; sharing his body are the spirits of Sanai Oka, a samurai from the Sengoku period who served the Uesugi clan, and Masaharu Oka, a contemporary teenage otaku with a penchant for animal‑ear motifs.
The voice cast is headlined by Yusuke Kobayashi as Bard Cornelius, with the following additional talents:
- Takashi Matsuyama portrays Sanai Oka
- Satoshi Inomata voices Masaharu Oka
- Yukari Anzai plays Seillune
- Ayasa Ito portrays Selina Savaran

Multi‑Mind Mayhem (Isekai Tensei Sodoki) is a Japanese light‑novel franchise authored by Ryosen Takami and illustrated by Ririnra. After debuting on the crowd‑sourced platform Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2013, the work earned a publishing award and subsequently migrated to AlphaPolis, where it was issued in print across 14 volumes spanning 2014 to 2019.

Bard Cornelius is the scion of a noble house in Mauricia, an empire existing in a different world. Unlike typical youths, Bard harbors three distinct souls within his single form. In addition to his own mind, he shares his body with Oka Sanai, a frugal samurai from the Sengoku era, and Masaharu Oka, a teenage anime fan obsessed with animal‑ear accessories. Leveraging the samurai’s strategic insight and his own otaku know‑how, Bard plots to ascend to power through cunning and unconventional tactics.
