Magical Explorer: Reborn as a Side Character in a Fantasy Dating Sim anime unveiled a key visual, a trailer, and set an October 2026 premiere. WHITE FOX will produce the animation, directed by Kazuki Ohashi, after its initial reveal in September 2023.
The main voice cast includes:
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Kosuke Takioto
- Ai Kakuma as Ludi
- Saori Onishi as Yukine Mizumori
- M・A・O as Nanami
All four characters appear in the anime’s first key visual.

It debuted online in February 2018, entered print with Kadokawa Shoten in November 2019, and its manga adaptation by Yukari Higa launched on Young Ace Up in August 2020.

Few titles are more revered among horndogs—connoisseurs of Japanese erotic video games—than Magical Explorer. One day, our smut‑loving protagonist awakens in the body of the game’s ideal hero, only to discover he’s actually the comical sidekick Kosuke Takioto. Leveraging his deep knowledge of the game and Kosuke’s quirky abilities—like a scarf that doubles as a fist—he intends to transform the unlucky sidekick into the ultimate heartthrob. With the right know‑how, nothing is impossible in this world.
