Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in any field, with preference for Accounting, Finance, or Management.
- At least 8 years of experience in internal auditing, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Experience in the insurance or financial‑services sector is considered an advantage.
Technical Competencies
- Solid grasp of OJK regulations related to governance, risk management, and internal control within the insurance sector.
- Familiarity with professional internal‑audit standards and the COSO framework.
- Proficiency in risk‑based audit methodology, encompassing planning, execution, reporting, and follow‑up monitoring.
- Competence in analytical tools and fraud‑investigation techniques.
Non‑Technical Competencies
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- High integrity, independence, objectivity, thoroughness, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) is a plus.
- QIA or CIA certification preferred; related credentials (CISA, CRMA, CFE, etc.) are valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Internal Audit Unit and support the VP – Internal Audit in conducting the company’s internal oversight activities.
- Prepare proposals for the Annual Audit Work Program (PKPT) together with its budget.
- Oversee the execution of routine and special audits as per the established schedule.
- Draft audit findings reports (LHP) with improvement recommendations and monitor their implementation.
- Support the effective application of governance (GCG), risk management, and internal control across all work units.
- Coach and develop the auditor team, and coordinate with relevant units and external auditors.
