Dengeki Daisy anime unveiled its debut main trailer and key artwork, introduced four new voice actors, and announced a January 2027 premiere. The series will cover the entire manga up to its finale and will be available on Crunchyroll. Two back‑to‑back cours have been set, extending the run into Spring 2026.
The newly revealed voice cast includes:
- Tomokazu Sugita portrays Soichiro Kurebayashi, Teru’s deceased elder sibling.
- Yuka Terasaki voices Riko Onizuka, a guidance counselor with prior connections to Soichiro and Kurosaki.
- Setsuji Sato appears as Masuda, a café proprietor linked to Soichiro and Kurosaki.
- Kohei Amasaki plays Akira, a cryptic youth who becomes intrigued by Teru.
The cast’s performances can be heard in the freshly released trailer.
The key visual showcases the four new characters together with the leads Teru Kurebayashi and Tasuku Kurosaki, performed by Yoshino Aoyama and Taku Yashiro.
The narrative centers on Teru Kurebayashi, a 16‑year‑old whose brother passes away, bequeathing her a phone that links to the enigmatic hacker known as “Daisy.” The series will be produced by Studio DEEN and helmed by Sota Ueno, whose prior works include Days with My Stepsister and Shiboyugi: Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table. Dengeki Daisy is a Japanese manga created by Kyosuke Motomi. It ran in Shogakukan’s Betsucomi shojo magazine from May 2007 through October 2013, spanning 16 volumes. Viz Media published an English adaptation, summarizing Volume 1 as follows:
