Katekyo Hitman REBORN! anime has officially unveiled a creditless edition of its fifth opening theme, spotlighting Masami Mitsuoka’s track “last cross.” That song originally aired during episodes 102‑126, and the fresh video drop is part of the series’ 20th‑anniversary celebrations.

The release follows yesterday’s launch of the eighth ending theme, which showcases CHERRYBLOSSOM’s “CYCLE.” These drops are part of REBORN! MUSIC MONTH—a month‑long September initiative honoring the anime’s 20th birthday. As earlier announced, the campaign will roll out daily creditless versions of past opening and ending sequences on the official YouTube channel.

These instrumental “creditless” clips were originally bundled with the anime’s physical releases but had never been officially posted online before. The newest installment can be viewed beneath.

The initiative kicked off on September 1 with a curated 25‑song playlist that includes all opening and ending themes plus assorted background music from the TV series.

Akira Amano’s manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from May 2004 to November 2012, concluding with 42 compilation volumes. An anime adaptation followed, spanning 203 episodes that aired from October 7, 2006, to September 25, 2010, produced by Studio Artland. The series is available on Crunchyroll, whose synopsis reads:

Tsuna, a shy middle‑schooler who struggles academically, athletically, and socially, sees his world upended when a baby named Reborn appears, claiming to be an Italian hitman from the Vongola family sent to coach him for his future role as the mafia boss.
