Overgeared anime unveiled its third trailer and third key visual before its October 2, 2026 premiere date. Two new cast members were also disclosed, and the trailer showcases the ending theme “Ray of Emotion.” The second PV and visual were shown in July at Anime Expo.
The newly announced cast members include:
- Yuki Murata portrays Irene
- Yurika Hirayama portrays Isabel
The latest trailer also teases the theme songs. The opening track “SATISFY” is performed by Re:name, and the ending theme “Ray of Emotion” is sung by virtual vocalist and rapper TAO. The new trailer can be viewed below.
Rooted in Saenal’s popular Korean web novel and its webtoon adaptation by Monohumbug (REDICE STUDIO) and Team Argo, Overgeared centers on Youngwoo Shin, a gamer facing hardships whose fate transforms after receiving a legendary blacksmith’s legacy within the virtual reality MMORPG Satisfy.
The fresh key visual can be seen below.
Ayako Kono (Sword Art Online Progressive) helms the anime at J.C.STAFF, while Kenta Ihara (Sentenced to Be a Hero) oversees series composition, Ryosuke Tanigawa designs characters, Yoshiaki Fujisawa creates the score, and Yoshikazu Iwanami serves as sound director.
First released as a web novel, it later became one of REDICE STUDIO’s top webtoon hits; Overgeared now adds to the expanding roster of Korean fantasy titles adapted into anime, following Solo Leveling, Tower of God, and The Beginning After the End.
