The Lonely Snow Widow and the Cursed Ring TV anime has dropped two fresh character trailers spotlighting the heroine Mifuyu Yukino and the male lead Satoru Takahashi. The series had earlier announced a slated debut for October 2026, along with details on the core production crew and voice cast.
The inaugural promotional video (PV) zeroes in on Mifuyu, voiced by Rikka Kitami. The YouTube upload is a sanitized version, while an uncensored “Premium Version” will stream exclusively via AnimeFesta.
The latter promo focuses on Satoru Takahashi, performed by Harumichi Shito.
Based on the manga penned by Puzaki Puna, The Lonely Snow Widow and the Cursed Ring unfolds in a modern milieu where humans and yokai share the world. The tale follows Satoru Takahashi, a youthful building manager who inherits an apartment complex intended for supernatural dwellers. After unintentionally upsetting Mifuyu, a reclusive snow‑woman he secretly admires, Satoru turns to a mystical ring believed to enhance yokai communication. Strangely, the artifact prompts Mifuyu to act more boldly, dramatically altering their relationship.
The voice talent for the series comprises:
- Rikka Kitami as Mifuyu Yukino
- Harumichi Shito as Satoru Takahashi
- Sara Ayumi as Kaede Kiryuin
The adaptation is helmed by director Kazuomi Koga (known for Rent-A-Girlfriend and The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases), with Miyako Nishida serving as chief animation director and Eeyo Kurosaki overseeing the scriptwriting. The character designs are by Mina Kyawa Akapi v, and the animation is produced by HoKIBOSHI studio under Suiseisha’s banner.
