Based on Puuzaki Puuna’s manga, The Lonely Snow Widow and the Cursed Ring takes place in a contemporary world where humans and yokai coexist. It follows Satoru Takahashi, a young apartment manager who inherits a building designed for supernatural tenants. When he unintentionally angers Mifuyu, a snow‑woman widow he secretly admires, he uses a ring said to improve yokai communication. The artifact backfires, making Mifuyu bolder and reshaping their relationship.
The production is led by director Kazuomi Koga (famous for Rent-A-Girlfriend and The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases), with Miyako Nishida as chief animation director and Eeyo Kurosaki handling series composition. Character art is by Mina Kyawa Akapi v, and HoKIBOSHI studio provides the animation under Suiseisha.
