The forthcoming TV series My Sword Saint Master Is Too Cute to Live With has unveiled its inaugural teaser image after the project was announced earlier in the year.
The illustration showcases the famed Sword Saint Liza brightening while holding a sword, and you can view it further down.
Adapted from Kennoji’s light novel, illustrated by R_Ringo, this romantic comedy follows Eugene, who starts living with his former master Liza after she retires from adventure. Liza, though an unmatched swordswoman, is surprisingly clumsy in daily life, and her inadvertent affection constantly leaves Eugene flustered.
Seven Seas will publish the first volume of the manga in English in June 2027. The publisher’s blurb reads:
One eager young man seeks strength by training under a mighty Sword Saint. Despite her great skill and beauty, her scatterbrained nature and irresistible charm make her hard to ignore! A fun, sexy rom‑com that will get your blood flowing.
The series is being produced by Deregula, an animation label that concentrates on adult‑oriented works.
In celebration of the anime, illustrator R_Ringo released a special commemorative drawing, and creator Kennoji noted that the story was always penned with the dream of an anime version. Both remarks and the art can be found further down.

I crafted this tale with the aim of one day seeing it become an anime, never assuming it would truly happen. Upon learning the news, I was utterly shocked and thrilled!
