On Saturday, November 7, 2026, the Scooter Tasikmalaya Club (STC) organized a tour named STC MORO UDANG heading to Cikalong, Tasikmalaya Regency.
Just from its name, you can sense something different. Typically, tours aim for fresh air, but this time they’re also on the hunt for fresh shrimp.

The group set off from Tamansari. Their route passed through Gunung Tanjung, Cikatomas, Salopa, before finally arriving in Cikalong.
It’s no short trip for a Vespa, especially given the Vespa’s distinct character. Modern motorcycles might be more concerned with speed calculations.
With a Vespa, riders are more focused on savoring the journey. Its engine produces a distinctive rhythm, as if singing an old tune along the way.
Several STC leaders joined the group, including STC Chairman Enan Suherlan, STC Commander Mang Ozon, Kang Asep Saeful Efendi, Rahmat, Uje, Bendot, Ringgo, Padrik, Faisal, and other key officials.
I also happened to join in, not to test the Vespa’s endurance or to prove who could conquer the steepest hills. I simply wanted a new experience; it’s been a while since I’ve been on the road.
It felt wonderful to be back on a Vespa, enjoying the streets, taking in the scenery, and reconnecting with old friends.
Occasionally there were jokes, sometimes laughs. Occasionally someone might check the vehicle’s condition. In the Vespa world, a journey isn’t just about leaving and arriving; there are stories along the way.

STC Chairman Enan Suherlan stated that this simple tour was a way to refresh the members, maintain cohesion, and strengthen relationships among the members.
It so happened that an STC friend in Cikalong was harvesting shrimp. They invited the group to stop by and taste the pond’s produce.
“This simple activity is meant to maintain unity among the board members. It turned out that an STC friend is harvesting shrimp and invited us to try the pond’s produce,” Enan said.
Wow, this is an invitation that’s hard to refuse. If the invitation is for a meeting, perhaps some might still ask what’s on the agenda. If it’s a shrimp harvest invitation, there wouldn’t be a need for a circular letter.
