The Dangers in My Heart (BokuYaba) Season 3 has unveiled a key visual and trailer, and set a release window for April 2027. The animation will once more be handled by Studio Shin-Ei.

Norio Sakurai’s The Dangers in My Heart (BokuYaba) formally ended on September 15, 2026, as the final chapter went live on Akita Shoten’s Champion Cross site.
Serialization launched in 2018 in Weekly Shonen Champion and later shifted to Champion Cross. The story follows Kyotaro Ichikawa, a withdrawn middle‑schooler, and Anna Yamada, the class’s well‑liked girl, as they slowly build a romantic bond despite being opposites.
More than 7 million copies have been sold so far. The concluding volume, Volume 14, is released today, November 6, in Japan. An exclusive special edition will also feature Kyotaro Ichikawa’s 12th Junior High School Graduation Album Art Book, containing about 200 pages of artwork.
Season one of the televised adaptation comprised 12 episodes during Spring 2023. Season two aired a total of 13 episodes in Winter 2024, dominating the weekly rankings from start to finish with the inaugural sweep in the series’ history. The second season also earned the 2024 Anime of the Year honor and many further awards.
Seven Seas Entertainment holds the English license, and HIDIVE is presenting the series online. The story centers on Kyotaro Ichikawa, a young man who daydreams about bizarre impulses, until meeting the charming Anna Yamada, which completely transforms his existence.
A novel spin‑off was released on September 25, 2025, containing four short stories and showing Kyotaro and Anna ten years later.
