TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – Anniversary celebrations of a party do not always need to involve ceremonies and political stages.
The NasDem Party Regional Executive of Tasikmalaya City chose to get closer to the community by providing free health check‑ups to mark the 15th anniversary of NasDem in 2026 on Saturday (31/10/2026).
The event, held at the Secretariat of the NasDem Party Regional Executive of Tasikmalaya City, located at Jalan RE Martadinata No. 43, targeted local residents.

Various services were offered, ranging from blood pressure checks, cholesterol tests, to women’s health examinations.
The Chairman of the NasDem Party Regional Executive of Tasikmalaya City, Abdul Haris, stated that the activity was a form of the party’s concern so that its existence could be directly felt by the community.
According to him, free health checks also serve to help residents understand their health status and detect potential health problems at an early stage.
“This is one of the ways NasDem Party shows concern for the community. We want the party’s presence to be felt directly, one of which is through free health services,” said Abdul Haris.
During the activity, the NasDem Regional Executive of Tasikmalaya City targeted 100 residents to undergo health checks. The primary target was the community living around the party secretariat.
Abdul Haris hoped that the community would take advantage of the service. He also expressed hope that similar activities could provide real benefits, not just serve as an annual party agenda.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of the West Java NasDem Party Regional Executive, Hendi Sutrisna, said that the 15th anniversary became a momentum to strengthen the party’s concern through programs that directly address community needs.

Various social activities were prepared as part of the celebration, including NasDem Peduli, NasDem Budaya, and NasDem Bugar.
“Thank God, in commemorating the 15th anniversary, we carried out various activities. There are NasDem Peduli, NasDem Budaya, and NasDem Bugar. Of course, this activity is part of our concern for the community,” said Hendi.
He considered that health issues are not solely the responsibility of the government or health workers. All community elements, including political parties, need to take part in increasing awareness of a healthy lifestyle.
“Health problems are a shared responsibility. Therefore, we strive to take part through this free health check activity,” he said.
