Program Cek Kesehatan Gratis di Banten Capai 7,26 Juta Warga, Lewati Target Nasional

Thecuy.com, Serang – The Free Health Check Program (CKG) in Banten Province has successfully reached a notable milestone, with 7,263,558 residents having undergone health examinations as of October 1, 2026. This figure surpasses the national target of 46 percent of Banten’s total population, which is approximately 12.9 million people.

Gubernur Banten, Andra Soni, sees the achievement as an indicator of the public’s high enthusiasm in taking advantage of free health examination services. The CKG program is one of President Prabowo Subianto’s priorities aimed at giving the public the opportunity to know their health condition without the burden of examination costs.

Manfaat dan Jenis Pemeriksaan dalam Program CKG

Through this program, the public can have various health indicators checked for free, including blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and even lung examinations (torax). Previously, people had to pay for simple tests such as blood sugar, so this program’s existence greatly helps improve access to health services.

Deteksi Dini Penyakit dan Imbauan Pemerintah

Gubernur Andra Soni emphasized that reaching 46 percent of participants should not be the end of CKG implementation. The more people who know their health condition, the greater the chance to prevent diseases early. From the examination results, two common health problems found were hypertension and diabetes. Both diseases require serious treatment because they can cause complications such as heart attacks and kidney dysfunction.

People who have discovered health problems are urged to regularly check up at community health centers or other health facilities. The government also enhances health service access through participation in the National Health Insurance (JKN) and BPJS Kesehatan, with the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) coverage in Banten currently reaching around 98 percent.

Pelayanan Kesehatan dan Akses yang Diperluas

Andra Soni reminded of the importance of optimal health services provided by health workers so that people coming for treatment do not face obstacles. Almost all hospitals and clinics in Banten now accept BPJS, making it easier for residents with Banten ID cards to obtain quality health services without additional costs.

Program CKG Berkelanjutan

The Head of the Banten Provincial Health Department, Ati Pramudji Hastuti, stated that the implementation of the CKG program will continue even though the national target has been exceeded. The local government wants to ensure that all residents can access health examination services to promote early detection of various diseases. This is important so that people do not only seek treatment when they are already sick, but can also know their body’s condition from the start and take preventive or rapid treatment steps.

With the continuous increase in achievements, the CKG program has become one of the strategic efforts to improve the quality of life of Banten’s population through health examinations that are easy, widespread, and free of charge.
