TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – The Tasikmalaya City Government has proposed the revitalization of the Dadaha sports area to the West Java Provincial Government. However, the proposal is only expected to be realized in 2028.
The plan includes overhauling all buildings and structures that are assets of the Tasikmalaya City Government in the area, including the stadium, to improve their condition and better meet public needs.
The Secretary of the Tasikmalaya City, Drs. Asep Goparullah MPd, said that the proposal for the revitalization of Dadaha has been delivered to the provincial government.

He hopes the plan can be implemented so that the arrangement and improvement of various facilities in the Dadaha area can be carried out comprehensively.
“We have submitted the proposal to the West Java Provincial Government. Hopefully it can be implemented and help meet various needs in the Dadaha area,” said Asep.
According to him, the revitalization is planned to target all buildings owned by the Tasikmalaya City Government in the Dadaha area. The improvement is not limited to one facility but also includes other buildings, such as the stadium, to make their condition more representative.
Regarding the implementation time, the revitalization plan is reportedly likely to be carried out in 2028. However, its realization still awaits further processes from the provincial government.
Meanwhile, the amount of funding required to revitalize all these assets cannot yet be determined. The budget calculation will later need to be adjusted to the treatment needs of each building and facility to be repaired.
Asep hopes that, if the plan is realized, the Dadaha area will have better, safe, and comfortable facilities to support sports activities and other community activities.
85 assets have been handed over to the Tasikmalaya City Government, but 41 were returned to the Regency through a grant. A youth was stabbed while hanging out under the bridge on the Northern Ring Road of Tasikmalaya.
Thus, routine maintenance becomes an important part to maintain the functionality of the Dadaha facilities. The City Government hopes that the area can still be optimally utilized by the community before the comprehensive revitalization program is realized. (Ujang Nandar)
