BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War has concluded its fourth and final cour, featuring a special concluding film after the finale. Tite Kubo had previously indicated that the finale would contain more original material than earlier parts, expanding the manga’s ultimate battles. This prediction proved even more accurate in Episode 45, where a brand‑new Ichigo form and an Orihime Inoue scene debuted.
Created by Tite Kubo, BLEACH ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016 and wrapped up after 74 volumes. The series has sold over 130 million copies worldwide, placing it among the best‑selling manga ever.
The original anime aired from 2004 to 2012 and spawned four theatrical movies. The franchise returned in 2022 with BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, which adapts the manga’s final arc.
