Persikotas Terusir dari Markas Sendiri, TCS Desak Pemkot Tasikmalaya Jelaskan Langkah Perbaikan Stadion

TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – The promise of constructing and refurbishing the Wiradadaha Stadium is once again in the public eye. This time, the discontent comes from the fervent fan group of Persikotas of Tasikmalaya City, known as Tasik City Society (TCS).

A large crowd from TCS voiced their demands following the kickoff of the charity match between PSSI of Tasikmalaya City and the Tasikmalaya City Government at the Wiradadaha Stadium on Sunday evening, (27/9/2026).

As the Mayor of Tasikmalaya, Viman Alfarizi Ramadhan, was about to get into his official vehicle outside the stadium, the TCS supporters promptly approached, carrying a banner that read, “How about the stadium construction progress?”

PSSI and the Tasikmalaya City Government staged a charity match in support of Ahid, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Meanwhile, allegations of bullying involving high‑school students in Tasikmalaya should not be brushed aside with superficial peace talks; a full investigation is required.

Viman momentarily paused his stride. He briefly conversed with the crowd and gathered their concerns about the condition of the Wiradadaha Stadium before proceeding with his official duties.

The TCS representative, Suntara Pratama, noted that the stadium issue is not a new one for Persikotas fans. He believes that the construction or renovation of the stadium has been awaited for a long time, yet there has been no satisfactory clarification up to now.

“Since when have these promises about the stadium been made, and why haven’t they been addressed yet?” Suntara remarked.

He continued, saying that this situation forces Persikotas to use a stadium outside the region as its home ground.

“Currently, Persikotas’ home base is in Ciamis. We are borrowing the stadium there,” he stated.

For TCS, the matter goes beyond mere club comfort.

The stadium located in the heart of Tasikmalaya City is considered to have broader potential, including boosting local economic activities.

“It’s a shame because this is our stadium too. It’s centrally located and spacious. If the stadium is well‑maintained, the economy will definitely thrive,” he said.

To prevent actions by motorcyclist groups, the Maung Galunggung team is patrolling vulnerable points in Tasikmalaya City. Meanwhile, as the dry season persists, SDN 2 Kersanagara in Tasikmalaya City encourages students to look upward through Salat Istisqa.

However, the response received by the supporters during the dialogue after the first half of the match was considered insufficient to provide certainty.

Suntara noted that the explanation given was still convoluted and failed to address the most fundamental question: when the stadium will be renovated and what the construction plan entails.

“The answer was unsatisfactory. It might still be like before, convoluted. We want certainty—exactly when, exactly how, and clear information,” he asserted.

After conversing with the mayor, the TCS supporters proceeded to enter the stadium.

When the first half ended, they resumed the dialogue, this time with the Chairman of PSSI of Tasikmalaya City, H Wahid, and the Head of Sports Development at the city’s Department of Culture and Tourism, Momon Suryaman.
