TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – Persikotas of Tasikmalaya is once again scrambling to solve its home‑ground issue.
This season’s league format, which uses a home‑and‑away system, forces the club nicknamed Laskar Wiradadaha to secure a stadium as its base for matches.
The problem is that the Wiradadaha/Dadaha Stadium is still not considered suitable to serve as a home base.

Consequently, Persikotas has begun looking for alternative venues in the Priangan Timur region, considering the Galuh Ciamis Stadium as a temporary home ground, while also exploring possible partnerships with private operators for stadium management.
The CEO of Persikotas, Ecep S Yasa, noted that the shift to a home‑and‑away competition format means every club must secure its own venue.
“Since it’s a home‑and‑away system, we automatically need a home to host opponents,” Ecep told reporters on Monday (28/9/2026).
In his view, Persikotas has several options, including renting a stadium in Bogor. However, the management is also weighing alternatives closer to the supporter base in Priangan Timur.
For these options, two alternatives are seen as most feasible: the Galuh Stadium in Ciamis and the Banjar Stadium.
“In Priangan Timur there are only two alternatives, Galuh and Banjar (Galuh was ultimately chosen),” he said.
This choice also opens up the possibility of collaboration among football powers in the Priangan Timur area.

Ecep believes that inter‑club rivalry should not keep serving as a barrier when infrastructure issues and the growth of football demand collective strength.
He hopes this moment can become a meeting point between Persikotas and other local football powers.
“This is a chance to unite the potential and strength of Priangan Timur football,” he said.
According to Ecep, the rivalry that has existed should be treated as part of the past. Now, club performance is seen as more important to answer that rivalry.
“It’s time for the fighting to stop. Let’s respond with achievements,” he stressed.
He cited PSGC Ciamis, which competes in Liga 2, and Persikotas, which competes in Liga 3. In his view, both regions have potential that can be developed together.
“PSGC performs well in Liga 2, Tasik performs well in Liga 3. It’s time for quarrels or such things to be in the past,” he said.
