TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – The Tasikmalaya Regency has once again received recognition for its regional inflation control performance. The Tasikmalaya Regional Government earned the TPID Berprestasi 2026 Award for the Regency/City Level in the Java‑Bali Non‑IHK Area.
The award was presented during the Festival Keuangan Ekonomi Digital Indonesia (FEKDI)–Indonesia Fintech Summit and Expo 2026 and the National Inflation Control Coordination Meeting at Jakarta International Convention Center on Thursday, 24 September 2026.
This year’s award marks the third time for Tasikmalaya Regency. Previously, the area received a similar award in 2023 and 2025.

The Regent of Tasikmalaya, Dr. H. Cecep Nurul Yakin, S.Pd., M.AP., who attended the event, expressed appreciation to the community and government officials from the district down to the village levels.
“I would like to thank the people of Tasikmalaya Regency and all district, subdistrict, and village government officials who continue to work together, striving to carry out our duties, which have been recognized as impactful,” he said.
According to Cecep, success in maintaining price stability does not solely depend on government policies. The community and business actors also play a crucial role in ensuring the availability of goods and the smooth distribution of essential items.
To maintain this condition, the Tasikmalaya Regional Government conducts intensive coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs and monitors inflation trends weekly. Control measures involve ensuring the continued availability of staple supplies and enhancing coordination with business actors.
These steps aim to maintain a balance between the availability of supplies and the prices of essential goods required by the community.
For these efforts, Tasikmalaya Regency received appreciation as a region capable of maintaining prices, especially for basic food commodities, in the Java‑Bali area.
Cecep stated that the award is a form of appreciation for the collaborative work of all regional elements, which deserves to be dedicated to the people of Tasikmalaya Regency.
In an effort to maintain price stability, the community and business actors are considered essential in preserving conditions on the ground, while the government functions as a regulator.
“Synergy between the community, business actors, and the government is a crucial factor in maintaining economic stability and preserving the purchasing power of the people of Tasikmalaya Regency,” he concluded. (obi)
