Tasikmalaya City’s Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) secured the 2026 Best‑Performing Regency/City TPID award for the Java‑Bali region.
The award was disclosed during the 2026 National Coordination Meeting on Inflation Control and the Acceleration and Expansion of Regional Digitalization (P2DD), held at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Jakarta, on Thursday, 24 September 2026.

A similar distinction was indeed recorded as being attained by Tasikmalaya City at the TPID Awards 2025.
The Mayor of Tasikmalaya, Viman Alfarizi Ramadhan, expressed gratitude to all parties involved in maintaining price stability and controlling inflation in the region.
“Thank God, this award is the result of collaborative effort,” Viman said.
“I convey my thanks and appreciation to the entire TPID team, Bank Indonesia, regional agencies, Bulog, business operators, distributors, and all parties who have continuously collaborated to maintain price stability and ensure the availability of essential goods for the community,” he added.
He noted that the award is not merely an administrative accomplishment.
Moreover, TPID’s performance must deliver a direct impact on the community, especially in ensuring affordable prices and the availability of basic necessities.
“The most crucial aspect is how the community can meet its needs at affordable prices, with adequate supply, smooth distribution, and sustained purchasing power,” he stated.

Looking ahead, the Tasikmalaya City Government will continue to reinforce various inflation control measures.
These include monitoring commodity prices and supply, cross‑sector coordination, strengthening distribution, implementing low‑price food initiatives, and intervening when price fluctuations occur.
The 2026 National Coordination Meeting on Inflation Control and P2DD also formed part of the opening of the Indonesia Digital Financial Economy Festival (FEKDI) x Indonesia Fintech Summit and Expo (IFSE) 2026.
The event gathered central government, regional authorities, Bank Indonesia, the Financial Services Authority, and various stakeholders to enhance synergy in inflation control and digital economic and financial transformation.
