The anime adaptation of Daemons of the Shadow Realm has officially confirmed a second season.

        <!-- content --><p>The production committee for the anime adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa's comic, <em>Daemons of the Shadow Realm</em> (<em>Yomi no Tsugai</em>), has officially announced the development of a second season. The announcement came right after the final episode of its first season aired, which consisted of two consecutive cour since April 2026.</p>

This anime project is produced by Bones Film studio, directed by Masahiro Ando, with screenplay by Noboru Takagi and character design by Nobuhiro Arai. In the voice cast, seiyu actor Kensho Ono reprises his role as the main character Yuru, alongside Yume Miyamoto as Asa, Yuichi Nakamura as Dera, and Misaki Kuno as Gabu-chan.

The series is adapted from the comic created by the author of Fullmetal Alchemist and Silver Spoon, Hiromu Arakawa, which first appeared in Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine in December 2021. Set in a remote village harboring a dark secret, the story centers on Yuru and his twin sister Asa as they confront a mysterious fate that separates them.
