Daemons of the Shadow Realm Season 2 was confirmed right after the final episode aired in Japan. The animation work is handled by Studio BONES FILM, and the series will wrap up after two back‑to‑back cours, totaling 24 episodes. The show is currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll.

Daemons of the Shadow Realm is a Japanese manga penned and drawn by Hiromu Arakawa, the creator of Fullmetal Alchemist. It has been appearing in Square Enix’s Monthly Shonen Gangan since December 2021, with Square Enix also publishing an English version. Their synopsis reads:
In a realm where select humans wield powerful supernatural partners known as Daemons, twins Yuru and Asa—referred to as “the children who sunder day and night”—are destined to command these forces.
After being parted at a young age and kept ignorant of their true origins, the siblings must battle to reunite, fulfill their destiny, and safeguard the world…
