This Korean drama tells the story of a swordsmanship master who invented a martial art during the Joseon era, named Baek Dong Soo (Ji Chang Wook). Thanks to his skills, he became the personal guard of Crown Prince Sado, who later ascended the throne as King Jeongjo.

In reality, Seung Yang only has feelings for Wang Yoo (Joo Jin Mo), her first love. Meanwhile, Toghon Temur harbors genuine affection for Seung Yang.

Queen Woo is a Korean sageuk drama that incorporates action elements, Thecuy.
In Queen Woo, Ji Chang Wook portrays King Go Nam Mu, who is also married to Queen Woo Hee (Jeon Jong Seo). Their relationship, however, starts to deteriorate after the king suppresses a rebellion led by the queen’s relative.
On the other hand, Queen Woo Hee eventually has to resolve palace issues following her husband’s death. The vacant throne must be filled promptly.
This situation is also exploited by those seeking power, leading Queen Woo Hee to enter into a controversial marriage. She is forced to marry her deceased husband’s younger brother and then crown him as the new king within 24 hours.

The Scandal is Ji Chang Wook’s newest sageuk drama project in 2026. As a Netflix original series, The Scandal begins with the story of Cho Yun (Son Ye Jin), who later becomes known as Madam Cho, and her cousin Cho Won (Ji Chang Wook). Meeting in childhood, both develop a forbidden attraction despite knowing they are relatives.
Years passed, and Cho Yun, now married to a minister, unexpectedly contacted Cho Won via letter and proposed a deal to him.
If Cho Won succeeds, Cho Yun promises to give the man a reward. Driven by their respective desires, the forbidden arrangement is carried out with the involvement of another woman named Hui Yeon (Nana).
According to IMDb, The Scandal received a rating of 6.3/10.
