Currently, UB holds the status of a State-Owned Legal Entity Higher Education Institution (PTN-BH) and stands as one of the largest universities in Indonesia. Universitas Brawijaya is accepting applications for Permanent Non-Civil Servant Lecturers (CDT Non-PNS) and On-Going S3 Lecturers for the year 2026. This recruitment is outlined in Announcement Number 04788/DST/UN10/B/KP/2026, signed by the Rector of UB on 2 November 2026. Four hiring pathways are available: Lecturer Lektor, Assistant Lecturer, Assistant Lecturer Practitioner/Professional, and On-Going S3 Lecturer. REGARDING 

THE RECEPTION OF PERMANENT NON-CIVIL SERVANT LECTURERS (CDT NON-PNS) AND ON-GOING S3 LECTURERS AT UNIVERSITAS BRAWIJAYA IN THE YEAR 2026

To address the need for Permanent Non‑Civil Servant Lecturers within Universitas Brawijaya (UB), we hereby announce that in 2026 UB will conduct a recruitment for Permanent Non‑Civil Servant Lecturers (CDT Non‑PNS) and On‑Going S3 Lecturers. The requirements and procedures for the selection process are as follows:

I. POSITION NAME, EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AND FORMATION TYPE

The available positions for Permanent Non‑Civil Servant Lecturers and On‑Going S3 Lecturers at Universitas Brawijaya (UB) include:

• Lecturer Lektor with a doctoral (S‑3) or subspecialist (Sp‑2) qualification;
• Assistant Lecturer with a master’s (S‑2) or specialist (Sp‑1) qualification, specifically for study programs in the health field;
• Assistant Lecturer Practitioner/Professional with a master’s (S‑2) qualification;
• On‑Going S3 Lecturer with a master’s (S‑2) qualification who is currently pursuing a doctoral (S‑3) degree. If accepted or successful in the selection process, the candidate will be appointed as a Permanent Lecturer upon completion of the doctoral degree, as per the applicable regulations.

II. REQUIREMENTS

A. General Requirements

1. Indonesian citizen who believes in the One Supreme God, is loyal and obedient to Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia;
2. Age limit on 1 February 2027:
• Lecturer Lektor (Doctoral S‑3 or Subspecialist Sp‑2): 47 (forty‑seven) years 0 months;
• Assistant Lecturer (Master’s S‑2 or Specialist Sp‑1): 35 (thirty‑five) years 0 months;
• Assistant Lecturer Practitioner/Professional (Master’s S‑2): 47 years 0 months;
• On‑Going S3 Lecturer (Master’s S‑2): 45 (forty‑five) years 0 months;
3. Physically and mentally healthy;
4. Not affiliated with ideologies that contradict Pancasila;
5. Not dependent on narcotics, illegal drugs, or similar substances;
6. Has good moral character and has never been imprisoned based on a final court ruling;
7. Has never been dismissed honorably not at his/her own request or dishonorably as a civil servant (PNS)/member of the Police or TNI or permanent employee/lecturer at UB or other institutions;
8. Does not hold the status of civil servant candidate (CPNS) or civil servant (PNS) or member of Police or TNI or permanent employee/lecturer at other institutions;
9. Not currently bound by a service contract or employment obligation with any institution, agency, company, or higher education.

B. Specific Requirements

1. Possess an educational qualification that matches the job requirements, certified by a legalized photocopy/official copy of the diploma or a scanned original document, subject to the following conditions:
• For domestic higher education graduates, the institution must be accredited A/Excellent and the study program must be accredited at least B;
• For foreign higher education graduates, the diploma must have been certified (equivalised) by the authorized agency (Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology);
• For graduates from higher education institutions that do not use a GPA system, an additional Statement of Completion from the institution attended is required;
• For graduates from higher education institutions that use a Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) system, the minimum GPA (on a 0–4 scale) is: S‑1 3.25; S‑2 3.50; S‑3 3.50; Specialist (Sp‑1) 3.50; Sub‑specialist (Sp‑2) 3.50;
• For applicants with a subspecialist (Sp‑2) qualification, the attached Competency Certificate must still be valid;
2. Preference is given to candidates who have published scientific articles in reputable international journals as the first author;
3. Minimum institutional TOEFL ITP score is 550 or IELTS score is 5.5;
4. Additional requirements can be found in the annex to this announcement.

III. REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

A. Online Registration

1. Applicants must register online at https://penerimaan-pegawai.ub.ac.id from 4 November 2026 through 15 November 2026;
2. Applicants must follow the instructions and steps provided to fill out the online registration form;
3. Applicants are required to upload (attach) the application documents and all supporting materials;
4. Each applicant may only apply for one position;
5. After successful online registration, applicants will undergo an administrative selection conducted by the Selection Committee.

B. Application Documents

1. Applicants must prepare a handwritten application letter in Indonesian, sign it, and address it to: Rector of Universitas Brawijaya, Jalan Veteran Malang;
2. Supporting Documents:
• a) Scan of a valid original KTP;
• b) Scan of original diplomas and transcripts for S‑1, S‑2, Specialist (Sp‑1), S‑3, and Sub‑specialist (Sp‑2), along with Institutional and Study Program Accreditation Certificates that meet the specific requirements;
• c) For applicants holding foreign diplomas, a Decision Letter on the Equivalence Assessment of the Diploma from the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology must be attached;
• d) Curriculum Vitae (to be filled in the application);
• e) Color passport‑size photograph (4×6 cm) with a blue background (to be uploaded in the application);
• f) Self‑Declaration Statement (12 points) with a Rp10,000.00 stamp (downloadable format at https://s.ub.ac.id/pernyataan12poin);
• g) Agreement Letter (5 points) with a Rp10,000.00 stamp (downloadable format at https://s.ub.ac.id/perjanjian5poin);
• h) Student ID Card or Proof of Active S‑3 Enrollment for On‑Going S‑3 Lecturer applicants;
• i) Evidence of work experience (if any or as required);
• j) Evidence of training, competency certificates, or STR (if any or as required);
• k) Valid TOEFL or IELTS certificate evidence;
• l) Evidence of publications (if any or as required).
3. The application letter and all supporting documents must be uploaded (attached) via the website https://penerimaan-pegawai.ub.ac.id no later than 15 November 2026 at 23:59 WIB.

IV. SELECTION PROCESS AND EXAMINATIONS

1. Administrative Selection

a. Applicants are considered to have passed the administrative selection if they meet all requirements and conditions as specified in Roman numerals II, III, and IV;

b. Candidates who pass the administrative selection will be announced on the website https://kepegawaian.ub.ac.id on 25 November 2026 and will receive a Participant Identification Card for printing;

c. Applicants who pass the administrative selection are eligible to take the Basic Competency Selection (SKD).

2. Basic Competency Selection (SKD)

a. The time and location for the SKD will be announced separately. For applicants residing abroad, the selection will be conducted online;

b. SKD Content:

• National Insight Test (TWK), designed to evaluate the mastery of knowledge and the ability to implement the values of Indonesia’s four Pillars: Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, and the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. This includes understanding Indonesia’s state system at both central and regional levels, the nation’s historical struggles, Indonesia’s role in regional and global contexts, and proficiency in the Indonesian language;
• General Intelligence Test (TIU)/Scholastic Test, aimed at assessing verbal abilities, numerical reasoning, logical thinking, and analytical reasoning;

c. During the SKD, each applicant must present a Selection Participant Card and a valid original Identity Card (KTP) or other official identification;

d. SKD test results will be announced later on the website https://kepegawaian.ub.ac.id;

e. Applicants who successfully pass the SKD are eligible to proceed to the Field Competency Selection.

3. Field Competency Selection (SKB)

• Examination Content: Written Subject Test, Interview, and Teaching Practice (Microteaching);
• During the SKB, each applicant must present a Selection Participant Card and a valid original Identity Card (KTP) or other official identification;
• The time and location for the SKB will be announced separately.

V. DETERMINATION OF SUCCESS

1. Candidates who successfully complete the SKB are considered successful as On‑Going S3 Lecturers and as Permanent Lecturers at Universitas Brawijaya;
2. The final list of successful candidates will be announced on the website https://kepegawaian.ub.ac.id;
3. The Selection Committee’s decision is final and cannot be contested.

VI. OTHER PROVISIONS

1. All applicants are required to comply with and follow the entire selection regulations and requirements as stipulated;
2. If, at a later date, an applicant is found to have provided false or inaccurate information or has manipulated data, his/her admission will be revoked and/or he/she will be dismissed as a Permanent Non‑Civil Servant Lecturer / Non‑Civil Servant Lecturer / On‑Going S3 Lecturer;
3. All announcements concerning recruitment and admission at each selection stage will be made exclusively through the website https://kepegawaian.ub.ac.id (no written correspondence will be processed);
4. The schedule outlined above may be altered based on circumstances. Applicants must adhere to any such changes;
