Katekyo Hitman REBORN! anime has just unveiled a creditless version of its eleventh ending theme, featuring the track “Smile for…” performed by Ueto Aya. This song originally aired during episodes 127‑139, and the fresh video is part of the series’ 20th‑anniversary festivities.
Yesterday’s launch of the sixth opening theme, “Sakura Rock” by CHERRYBLOSSOM preceded this release. Both drops are included in the “REBORN! MUSIC MONTH” initiative—a month‑long September celebration honoring the anime’s 20th birthday. As previously announced, the project will roll out creditless snippets of the series’ historic theme songs daily on its official YouTube channel.
These behind‑the‑scenes creditless cuts were originally packaged with physical releases of the anime but never saw an official online debut. The newest clip can now be viewed below.
The celebration kicked off on September 1 with a curated 25‑track playlist that includes opening and ending themes as well as assorted incidental music from the TV series.
Akira Amano’s manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from May 2004 to November 2012, concluding with 42 compiled volumes. An anime adaptation followed, airing for 203 episodes from October 7, 2006 to September 25, 2010, produced by Studio Artland. The series is available on Crunchyroll, whose synopsis states:
