TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – Mochammad Arief Arseha was unanimously elected as Chairman of the Golkar Party’s Regional Executive Council (DPD) for Tasikmalaya Regency during the 11th Regional Deliberation (Musda) held at the Alhambra Hotel, Singaparna, on Saturday (19/9/2026).
Arief, who also serves as a member of the Tasikmalaya Regency Regional Legislative Council from the Golkar Party faction and as Deputy Chairperson for Electoral Victory of the West Java Golkar DPD, has been entrusted to lead the Golkar Party in Tasikmalaya Regency for the 2025–2030 term.
The Musda was attended by Daniel Mutaqien Syafiuddin, Chairman of the West Java Golkar Party DPD; Erry Purwanto, the outgoing Chairman of the Tasikmalaya Regency Golkar Party DPD; the board members of the West Java Golkar DPD; and the members of the Golkar Faction in the West Java DPRD.

Arief garnered unanimous backing from the Sub‑district Executive Committees (PK), youth community organizations (OKP), and the groups comprising the Hasta Karya Partai Golkar.
Arief’s election marks the end of Erry Purwanto’s tenure, who had previously led the Golkar Party DPD of Tasikmalaya Regency for two terms.
Upon his confirmation as chairman, Arief stressed that the mandate was not just an organizational title, but a duty to bring the Golkar Party of Tasikmalaya Regency closer to the community.
He subsequently urged internal consolidation once the Musda concluded, asserting that all cadres must reunite and set aside factional dynamics within the party.
“‘There are no more groups—neither this nor that. No more supporters of person A or person B. Only one name, one banner, and one goal for the Golkar Party of Tasikmalaya Regency exist,’” Arief stated.
Arief believes that consolidation is the first step in addressing the increasingly complex political and social challenges that arise with the passage of time.
He called on all cadres of the Golkar Party DPD to return to the community once the leadership transition process was completed.

“Our energy is far too precious to be wasted on internal disputes. Let us go to the villages, listen to the people’s concerns, and offer concrete solutions,” Arief urged.
Arief presented four key agendas that would shape his leadership. The first is modernizing and transforming the party by leveraging data, technology, and digitalization.
Second, accelerating cadreization by providing wider and more inclusive leadership opportunities for cadres, encompassing youth and professional circles.
