The forthcoming Gachiakuta title has been formally named GACHIAKUTA: BREAKOUT, unveiling its inaugural gameplay trailer and a 2027 launch window. The clip debuted on September 17, offering enthusiasts their initial glimpse of the title in motion. Meanwhile, the series has just presented a preview of its upcoming second season.
The statement additionally indicated that gamers may preorder the title for their wishlists on Steam and Xbox platforms, and that it will also launch on PlayStation 5.
The title draws from Kei Urana’s Gachiakuta manga, showcasing street‑art illustrations by Hideyoshi Andou. The effort is crafted and released by Com2uS Group, whose Steam blurb reads:
Adapted from the popular animated series, GACHIAKUTA: BREAKOUT is a survival action role‑playing game with brutal close‑range fights and swift combat. Assemble a crew, hone unique abilities, and overcome formidable enemies. Traverse the Gachiakuta universe in vibrant cartoon‑styled graphics. Add it to your Wishlist now.
The first season spanned two back‑to‑back years, comprising 24 episodes in total, with BONES FILM overseeing the animation work. It also ranked as Crunchyroll’s top‑watched series in July 2025.
A mobile title and a theatrical version were revealed concurrently with the anime’s second season. The prospective game was hinted at as a survival action RPG called Gachiakuta The Game (preliminary), promising to “transfer the series’ distinctive world and mood into an interactive experience.”
