Tickets have gone on sale for the limited North American theatrical run of the newly 4K‑remastered version of Ninja Scroll, with showings set for October 4, 5 and 7, 2026 across the United States and Canada.
HIDIVE and Iconic Events Releasing will stage the three‑day exhibition in roughly 600 cinemas. The October 4 screening will include English subtitles, the October 5 showing will provide the English dub, and the October 7 repeat will present either subtitle or dub option based on each venue. Anime Corner has been granted the exclusive right to release a snapshot from the restored version:
The restoration effort was overseen by writer‑director Yoshiaki Kawajiri and produced by Sentai. The process started by scanning the original 35mm negative in 4K at 3840 × 2160, then performing meticulous frame‑by‑frame damage fixes and color grading to produce a brand‑new archival digital master.
First shown in 1993 and made by Madhouse, Ninja Scroll tells the tale of Jubei, who rescues a young female ninja and becomes entangled in probing the puzzling massacre of a whole village. The duo quickly discover a broader plot orchestrated by otherworldly foes intent on halting them.
The event is being marketed as the inaugural chance for North American movie‑goers to experience the freshly restored 4K edition of the movie on the big screen.
