TASIKMALAYA, RADARTASK.ID – The Tasikmalaya City Department of Labor (Disnaker) introduced the Hayu Gawe Go initiative on Wednesday (9/9/2026) to bridge the gap between job seekers and employers.

The program is designed as a mini job fair held weekly at the Tasikmalaya City Disnaker office.

Unlike the usual annual job fair that gathers dozens of companies at once, Hayu Gawe Go is a more concise and regular event.

The head of Tasikmalaya City Disnaker, Deni Diyana, stated that the activity is an innovative effort to mediate and connect job seekers with companies.

“This is a new Disnaker initiative to reach, mediate, and link employers with job seekers. We are launching Hayu Gawe Go, a mini Job Fair,” Deni said.

According to him, the Hayu Gawe Go schedule is planned in advance. Every week, Disnaker invites companies that have previously confirmed job openings.

Job vacancy information is shared early via Disnaker’s social media channels.

Thus, job seekers do not have to come without assurance, but can register online first.

“It does not mean the information is only released on the day it opens. It has been announced well in advance, allowing job seekers to register online,” he explained.

In this latest implementation, Disnaker facilitated interview sessions for prospective employees of Blibli, which is set to open a store in Tasikmalaya.

Deni noted that, a day before the event, around 150 job seekers had already registered online.

Given the large number of applicants, the interview process was scheduled to span two days.

“It goes until tomorrow due to the overwhelming number of applicants, while the company wants to find truly qualified job seekers,” he said.

Deni believes that the high number of registrants indicates that the need for information and access to job vacancies remains a critical issue for job seekers.

He assessed that one contributing factor to the open unemployment rate is that job vacancy information has not yet fully reached the public.
