The Head of the Tasikmalaya City Department of Manpower (Disnaker), Drs. H. Deni Diyana, M.Si., stated that the thousands of vacancies include job opportunities both domestically and abroad.
The destination countries for workforce placement listed in this program are Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Kuwait, Poland, Armenia, Brunei Darussalam, Gabon, South Korea, Maldives, Mauritius, Egypt, Serbia, Slovakia, Turkey, Japan, and Germany.
“There are 5.500 job openings both domestically and abroad, with opportunities leading to 18 countries,” said Deni Diyana regarding the implementation of the Tasikmalaya International Job Fair 2026 on Sunday, October 18, 2026.
This job fair is organized through a collaboration between the Ministry of Indonesian Migrant Workers Protection (KP2MI), the Tasikmalaya City Department of Manpower, and the Tasikmalaya City Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN).
Its implementation also receives support from the Special Staff of the President of the Republic of Indonesia for MSMEs and Digital Technology.
The 25th Anniversary of Tasikmalaya City also served as the backdrop for the event.
The poverty rate in Tasikmalaya City decreased to 9.34 percent, Viman says it’s thanks to compact cooperation with all parties; Electricity is bright, but the PAD is dim.
However, beyond being a celebratory event, this job fair is expected to serve as an entry point for the community to access broader employment opportunities.
The hybrid implementation (both online and offline) also provides job seekers with alternative ways to access vacancy information.
