Starting with Episode 47, the streaming schedule for BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War will shift, causing the new episode to land on September 8 across many platforms.
Up to now, fresh episodes on the impacted services dropped each Sunday at 12:00 JST. From Episode 47 onward, the drop time will move to every Tuesday at 18:00 JST.
In Japan, this adjustment covers subscription platforms such as Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, U-NEXT, d Anime Store, ABEMA, DMM TV, FOD, Lemino, and more, as well as transactional streaming services.
The notice only touches on the Japanese streaming timetable and does not imply any alteration to the TV broadcast lineup. International Disney+ or Hulu release timings remain untouched. VIZ Media confirmed Episode 47 is available on Hulu and Disney+, and future episodes are expected to follow their present schedule.
A number of viewers claimed the episode was missing from Disney+ when VIZ made the announcement, though this was later clarified as a temporary availability glitch that resolved quickly with the stream launching shortly after.
AVOD platforms will keep their current release cadence.
Crafted by Tite Kubo, BLEACH ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016, ending with 74 volumes. The series has sold over 130 million copies worldwide, ranking it among the top‑selling manga ever.
The first anime run spanned 2004‑2012 and spawned four movies. The series rebooted in 2022 with BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, covering the manga’s concluding arc. The last segment (Part 4) is slated for a July release, and Tite Kubo has indicated it will feature additional original content beyond earlier parts, broadening the final battles.
In other news, BLEACH: Mirrors High began pre‑registrations last month and is slated to debut in 2026.
