One step taken by the management is to bring in Boateng Prince. The naturalized midfielder, who played for Dejan FC last season, is expected to become a key force in Persikotas’ midfield.
Boateng was not chosen without reason. His experience competing in Liga 3 with Dejan FC, where he helped the club finish as runner-up, is an added value expected to bring a different flavor to Persikotas.
Because there is no fuel station in Pangandaran’s Langkaplancar area, Pertamina recommends purchasing fuel at these locations. Meanwhile, a young person has passed away while a youth organization continues to hold meetings!
Now, that experience will be put to the test with a team that has greater ambitions.
Boateng himself said he is beginning to enjoy his new surroundings at Persikotas. Almost two months of training together have begun to build communication and cohesion with his teammates.
“I feel blessed to join this team. I see that this team shows dedication and determination to compete with other teams in Liga 3,” said Boateng in a press conference at Hotel Crown on Sunday (6/9/2026).
According to Boateng, Persikotas’ player material is quite promising. However, he did not deny that there are still some homework assignments that need to be completed before the competition truly begins.
The remaining preparation time offers the team an opportunity to address various shortcomings and strengthen chemistry among players.
“There is still time to fix the shortcomings. Hopefully everything can be improved so that when the competition starts, we will be fully ready,” he said.
For Persikotas, Boateng’s presence is not merely to increase the number of players. His experience facing the toughness of Liga 3 competition is expected to help young players understand match pressure and maintain team consistency throughout the competition.

Persikotas’ Chairman, Ecep S. Yasa, said the management is still working on improving the squad. Several positions remain a concern, including the possibility of bringing in other quality players.
“There is still time to patch up some shortcomings. Hopefully, in the remaining preparation time, the deficiencies can be corrected so that the team is truly ready for the more challenging Liga 3 atmosphere,” said Ecep.
