A joint patrol was held on Sunday, (16/8/2026) in the early morning, to anticipate various potential disturbances to security and public order, especially street crimes that often take advantage of the night atmosphere.
The combined personnel deployed were quite comprehensive.

They consist of Pamapta, Pawas, functional duty officers, Reserse, Narcotics Unit, Intelligence, up to the Maung Galunggung Team of the Samapta Unit of Tasikmalaya City Police.
Pamapta III, Ipda Iyan Budi, stated that the patrol was part of the Enhanced Routine Activities (KRYD).
This step was taken to ensure the area’s condition remains safe and conducive, especially during vulnerable hours.
“The combined Pamapta, Pawas, duty officers, Reserse, Narcotics Unit, Intel, and the Maung Galunggung Team carried out the KRYD patrol,” Ipda Iyan Budi told reporters.
According to him, the patrol targeted several locations deemed to have potential vulnerability.
Police also anticipate street crimes that usually look for opportunities when residents’ activities start to diminish.
“This activity aims to prevent C3, namely curat, curas, and curanmor, and to anticipate gang motorcycle actions,” he said.

“Alhamdulillah, the situation in the jurisdiction of the Tasikmalaya City Police until now is safe and under control,” he said.
Ipda Iyan also reminded the community to participate in maintaining environmental security, especially when carrying out activities from night until early morning.
Residents are asked to avoid activities that could disrupt public order.
The public is also urged to immediately report to the police if they find any suspicious activities or conditions.
