MAPPA has unveiled fresh artwork for another of its series, this time spotlighting Jigokuraku: Hell’s Paradise. The pieces will be exhibited at the upcoming MAPPA EXPO 15th Anniversary event, where they will be displayed together with limited‑edition merchandise. The Tokyo portion of the showcase runs from September 16 through December 7, 2026, and will later travel to other cities across Japan.
In the past, the studio has shown off many designs for titles such as JUJUTSU KAISEN, Chainsaw Man, and Attack on Titan. The show will additionally include several large‑scale installations tied to these properties.
The Hell’s Paradise illustrations highlight the cast, including Gabimaru, Sagiri, Yuzuriha, Chobei, Toma, Gantetsusai, Fuchi, Shion, Tenza, and Nurugai. The images are available beneath.
Yuji Kaku penned and drew the Hell’s Paradise manga, which ran from 2018 to 2021 on the Shonen Jump+ service. Viz Media secured the English license, and Crunchyroll streams the anime adaptation. Produced by MAPPA, the series has seen two seasons to date.
The narrative centers on Gabimaru, once the most formidable shinobi of Iwagakure, who winds up on death row because he rejects his warrior path. Sent to an island in search of the Elixir of Life to clear his name and reunite with his wife, he soon discovers that the place is anything but ordinary, making survival—and finding the elixir—far from simple.
