The series is animated by NICHICALINE, with character designs by Osamu Nobusawa and Mochipuyo.
Mugendai Mewtype (Yumemita) is comprised of five female VTubers: Nakamachi Arale (vocals), Miyanaga Nonoka (lead guitar), Minetsuki Ritsu (rhythm guitar), Fuji Miyako (keyboard), and Sengoku Yuno (DJ). It is also the sole act among the franchise’s ten primary groups that lacks both a bassist and a drummer.
Muse Asia summarises the series as:
“Waaaaaah!!” A sudden gathering of debuting members, each flashing a unique talent, yet utterly unprepared to form a real band. Will these girls and their group truly manage to endure this!? “When the music halts, keep fighting.”
