TASIKMALAYA, Thecuy.com – A total of 50 members of the City Branch Headquarters (Kwarcab) of the Pramuka Movement of Tasikmalaya were officially dismissed to attend the 12th National Jamboree (Jamnas) in 2026 at the Cibubur Camping and Tourism Site, East Jakarta.
A formal farewell was held by the Mayor of Tasikmalaya, Viman Alfarizi Ramadhan, who also serves as the Branch Guidance Council Chairman (Mabicab) of the Pramuka Movement of Tasikmalaya, during a joint morning assembly at the Bale Kota Field of Tasikmalaya on Monday (10/8/2026).
The delegation comprised 40 participants, consisting of 16 male and 24 female members.
Domestic violence and the Orkes Melayu Festival have turned into entertainment events for RT/RW across Tasikmalaya City, featuring 40 competing dangdut singers. Meanwhile, civil servants from Tasikmalaya City have been entrusted with guarding the presidential protocol at the 11th National Jamboree in 2026.
In addition, there are two delegation leaders, five accompanying mentors, and three team staff. They will take part in the series of Jamboree activities scheduled from August 13 to 20, 2026.
Muhammad Yusuf, Chairman of the Tasikmalaya City Pramuka Movement Branch, stated that the farewell at Bale Kota constitutes a formal send‑off because the Mayor holds the position of Mabicab.
“Our younger members have just been formally sent off by the Mayor. As the Branch Guidance Council, he bears responsibility for the welfare of those departing,” Yusuf told Radar.
The participants are scheduled to depart for Jakarta on Monday evening. Prior to departure, the Branch Headquarters will hold another farewell ceremony at the secretariat.
Yusuf noted that the delegation’s preparations have been completed.
The participants had previously undergone training, which included physical preparation and camping activities.
“They are physically prepared and mentally ready, with all equipment and medicines already arranged,” he said.
The Branch Headquarters also collaborates with the Health Department to provide medicines for the delegation.
The Fatayat NU City Tasikmalaya Gymnastics is not merely exercise, according to Diky Candra, offering numerous family benefits; meanwhile, PPP is targeting 15 seats in the 2029 Elections, with Enjang Bilawini being promoted as a potential mayoral candidate in Tasikmalaya.
However, Yusuf reminded the participants to maintain their health throughout the event.
“Therefore, avoid getting sick while you’re there,” he said.
On the other hand, the delegation’s departure also attracted attention from the participants’ parents.
Yusuf said that some parents voluntarily joined the trip to the Jamboree site by renting a bus on their own.
He considered the parents’ participation as a family support gesture, although it was not part of the delegation’s official funding.
Meanwhile, the Mayor of Tasikmalaya, Viman Alfarizi Ramadhan, emphasized that the trip to the Jamboree was not merely a camping event.
