The Digimon franchise has unveiled a fresh teaser trailer for Bokura ga Eranda Best Adventure (The Best Adventure We Chose), a special television project marking the series’ 30th anniversary.
Scheduled to launch on October 4 in Japan, the show will rerun beloved episodes from four classic Digimon series: Digimon Adventure, Digimon Adventure 02, Digimon Tamers, and Digimon Frontier. It is not a brand‑new anime; instead, it gathers episodes chosen by a global fan vote organized under the Digimon 30th Anniversary Project.
The freshly published teaser clips material from each of the four shows while presenting the anniversary initiative and the episodes slated to air again.
The four highest-ranked episodes are:
- Digimon Adventure – Episode 54, “A New World”
- Digimon Adventure 02 – Episode 21, “Goodbye, Ken…”
- Digimon Tamers – Episode 43, “Beelzemon Returns”

The anniversary initiative will also include a fresh opening theme crafted by veteran Digimon musicians. Ayumi Miyazaki, famed for the Digimon Adventure insert track “brave heart,” and Takayoshi Tanimoto, who delivered “One Vision” for Digimon Tamers, will handle the performance.
The creative crew brings back long‑time Digimon composers and lyricists. Hiroshi Yamada, responsible for lyrics of Digimon Adventure 02’s “Break up!” and “Beat Hit!”, will write the words, and Michihiko Ohta, known for the Digimon Frontier opening “FIRE!!” and scoring all four series, will compose the music.
Digimon Adventure is a 1999 Japanese anime created by Toei Animation together with WiZ, Bandai and Fuji Television. It launched the Digimon media franchise, which originated from the 1997 Digital Monster virtual pet. The property has spawned many other adaptations and spin‑offs, and its 30th birthday will be marked in 2027.
