Gege Akutami’s JUJUTSU KAISEN manga officially concluded on September 30, 2024, after roughly six and a half years of serialization that began in March 2018. The story wrapped up in its 30th volume, with Volumes 29 and 30 both hitting shelves on December 25, 2024. VIZ Media holds the English licensing rights. Studio MAPPA animated both TV seasons and the film for the franchise, and Crunchyroll streams them.
The narrative centers on Yuji Itadori, a teenager blessed with extraordinary physical power, who becomes part of a school for jujutsu sorcerers after crossing paths with Megumi Fushiguro, Satoru Gojo and Sukuna Ryomen. Facing execution for consuming one of Sukuna’s fingers, Yuji embarks on the perilous quest to locate and devour the remaining 19 “fingers” of the ‘strongest sorcerer in history’ in hopes of eradicating him. Unfortunately, the plan encounters numerous setbacks.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo spin‑off manga launched as a short‑term series in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 41 on September 8, 2025. Its second volume hit stores on March 4, and the third—and final—volume was released in Japan on May 1. After wrapping up, the series also dropped an animated trailer.
