Jujutsu Kaisen Season Four, Culling Game Arc Part 2 unveiled the inaugural super teaser illustration at the Juju Fes 2026 gathering in Japan. The artwork debuted alongside Sukuna’s line, “Do you recall? I mentioned we’d witness something intriguing.”

It was earlier disclosed that Takeru Sato, who previously acted as assistant director for Season 3, will helm the upcoming season, while Shota Goshozono remains listed as chief director. Sato remarked: I sense the heavy burden of being given such a crucial role each day. I’m drawing immense vigor from the enthusiasm and combined work of the crew and cast that have backed Jujutsu Kaisen thus far.
Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen manga formally concluded on September 30, 2024. The series ran for six and a half years, starting in March 2018, and wrapped up in thirty volumes. The final two instalments, Volumes 29 and 30, were both issued on December 25, 2024. VIZ Media holds the English licensing rights. Studio MAPPA previously produced the anime TV seasons and the film for the franchise, and Crunchyroll streams the shows.
The narrative centers on Yuji Itadori, a youth possessing extraordinary physical strength, who enrolls at a school for jujutsu sorcerers after meeting Megumi Fushiguro, Satoru Gojo, and Sukuna Ryomen. To postpone his execution for consuming one of Sukuna’s fingers, Yuji undertakes the mission of locating and devouring the remaining nineteen digits of the ‘most powerful sorcerer in history’ in hopes of eradicating him. Nonetheless, events do not unfold as planned.
Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, a spin‑off manga, launched as a brief serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 41, which hit shelves on September 8, 2025. Its second instalment came out on March 4, while the third and final volume was issued in Japan on May 1. An animated trailer was also released after the series concluded.
